If you are not a weaver, these terms may seem unfamiliar.  But thankfully you do not have to be one who weaves wool to be transformed by Diane C. Olson and Laura Dean F. Friedrich’s new publication Weaving A Just Future for Children.  You only need to love children. 

Diane and Laura Dean have created a resource that first lays a framework for advocacy through stories – our stories and our heritage.  They then clearly and concisely share issues critical to caring for children and practical ways of advocating for children.  They conclude with examining the role of the church in children’s advocacy out in the world.  Weaving A Just Future for Children includes a study guide, thought provoking questions, and dozens of resources to support you as you advocate for children.

I highly recommend this especially as we are in this time of preparation and anticipation of remembering the birth of Jesus the Christ who came to this world as a baby.
